There’s nothing more intimidating than reading an article with explanations as to why we eat what we eat.
You know, the ones with the fancy scientific wording and multi super duper macromolecule definitions- yuck. I sit through enough lectures daily thank you.
Nutrition should not be complicated. Everyone and their mothers generally know what’s good for them- fruits, vegetables, and meat. Frankly, that’s all you need to know.
The sugar in fruit is good. The sugar in donuts is bad.
The carbs in vegetables are great. The carbs in pizza, not so great. – but you’re totally allowed to eat some pizza every now and then
And just eat some meat.
Embrace your life and the occasional curve ball. Every diet book ever made tends to forget the “When Life Happens” section. But don’t forget.
