After a weekend full of endless indulgences, Mondays tend to always bring the sad reality of getting back on track. Friday night, which is totally not cheat night, ended with hot dogs and Snickers ice cream bars. Saturday night, which is cheat night was filled with burgers, gyros and beer – like I said endless indulgences.
It’s always the night time cravings that kill us – for me it’s my sweet tooth. Scrolling though Pinterest at night, it would be impossible not to come across a delicious, chocolate filled something. Rather than grabbing the nearest chocolate bar, or Snickers ice cream bar in our case, I always try to have something a bit healthier on hand. On days that we lift, I feel like we can be a bit more lenient in our diets (maybe thats my problem LOL) – but you all know how I love my
somewhat healthy desserts!
Healthy No Bake Cookies
These might be the easiest and best craving killers that I have ever made. They have such a rich chocolatey taste without the guilt of original No Bakes!
What I Used:
1 ripe banana mashed, 3 cups quick oats, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/3 cup real maple syrup (sub. agave or honey), 1/4 cup of milk (sub almond milk, etc.) & a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips!
